Unit for Research in Advanced Materials (URMA), which is attached to the center of Research in Industrial Technologies (CRTI), was established by Ministerial Decree No. 144 of 15 March 2011.
This unit is responsible for research and development activities in the field of composites and ceramics.
As such, she is responsible include:

Respond to social and economic needs through the development of prototypes, models and systems associated with the domain. Particular emphasis is given to technology transfer;
Develop themes directly in the field of ceramics and composite materials;
Develop research topics in the field of electrical engineering and control systems for process control;
Provide expertise in the field of characterization of composites and ceramics.
